Terms of use

Short version: 4chan TV is a free, independent web app that plays the videos of public 4chan threads. Use it to watch, be decent in the comments, and remember the files belong to the people who posted them.

Last updated 30 October 2026.

The service

4chan TV (4chan-tv.com) lets you watch the files of public 4chan threads as a continuous, full-screen channel. It is provided free of charge, as it is, without warranties of any kind. Features may change, and the service may be paused or stopped at any time. No account is needed.

Content from 4chan

4chan TV does not host the threads, images or videos. They are read from 4chan's public API and play from 4chan's own servers; they belong to their posters, and 4chan TV claims no ownership of them. 4chan content is user-generated and can be crude or offensive, even on work-safe boards. When a thread is pruned or a file is deleted on 4chan, it simply stops playing here. To have a post removed from 4chan itself, use 4chan's own reporting tools.

Adult boards

18+ boards are hidden by default. They can only be switched on by confirming you are 18 or older, and you are responsible for that confirmation being true and for viewing such content being legal where you are.

Hearts, comments and nicknames

• Hearts, comments and nicknames are this site's own; they are not posted to 4chan. Comments are public.
• Do not post illegal content, threats, harassment, hate speech, spam or anyone's personal data, and do not impersonate others.
• Comments and nicknames that break these rules can be removed, and the device that posted them can be blocked.

Fair use of the app

• Use 4chan TV to watch, heart, comment and save clips for yourself.
• Do not try to break, overload or scrape the service or its API, use the save relay as a proxy, or use automated tools beyond normal browsing.

Not affiliated with 4chan

4chan TV is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by 4chan. "4chan" is a trademark of its owner and is used here only to describe where the content comes from.

Advertising and links

The site may show ads (Google AdSense) to help keep it free; see the privacy policy. We are not responsible for the content of ads or of the external websites we link to.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, 4chan TV is not liable for the content of 4chan threads and files or for any loss resulting from using the service. Saved clips live in your browser's storage, which the browser may clear; keep your own copies of anything important.
